I'm glad that im th8,because this is turning into a hate thread for the th7s! But when im th9 as long as they take my town hall out and give me a shield as a bonus they can lightning away!

What about the TH7s that haven't or are never going to strike the DE like me?

That's mostly because people jump into conclusions without reading what's actually there. If you just read the last few posts and jump into conclusions on what's going on, it's very easy to take this as a "hate thread". No, I'm not accusing you, Jacob, for doing that, but anyone who just jumps in to think such on any thread on any forum. :)

I'm leaning myself more and more into realization, that biggest thing that causes many problems to many players is actually loot bonus to attack higher THs. When you are rising up in THs, you get awesome loot all around up untill you make the mistake to update your TH. The penalty is good to keep the big boys from offering big spoons of hurt to smaller THs, but the bonus causes only problems. Premature THs... Lightning DE... Unfair revenges... Global warming... People quitting on frustration... Countless flame threads on forums... Just to name few :)

Exactly. How do you suppose they get the BK if they have no drill? They have to raid it. And what is a very effective way to raid DE? Lightning whatever poor sucker you come across that you'll get a bonus off of.

I also believe that the loot bonus/penalties cause more harm than they do good.

Encouraging mismatches one way and not the other sends the wrong message.

I understand that Supercell want to make all players happy - keeping customers. However I think that the bonus is slightly misdirected and instead perhaps one of the biggest causes of players leaving is prematureness.

Something to discourage going up in the town halls too early - or perhaps they are happy for players to do this? (gem gem gem).

Every thread I read on this topic usually is filled with people saying that the biggest offenders for lightning on DE is actually the higher THs. This actually makes sense, as TH7 doesn't really need all that much DE. The real solution is to stop people of any town hall level from easily gaining trophies to make back the ones they lose when using lightning, and that means putting all the farmers THs back inside, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

The absolutely no reason for people to concern themselves with trophies whatsoever, and that is the key problem with this game. It rewards you for staying at TH7 and under 200 trophies. It's incredibly stupid.
