Just wondering if any higher level farms have bought any production buildings and then stopped using them? I was desperate to get my coffee kiosk but after using it a time or two it now sits idle because I've become a terrible miser with my sugar. I'm only level 51 so I'd be interested to know what things higher levels have bought but wish they hadn't.
I'm level 88 and I'm glad that I didn't bought more than 2 smelters. I never bought additional production slots for them either.
Machines I hardly use: Candy machine, honey extractor, sushi bar, salad bar, sandwich bar, smoothie mixer, pasta maker, hat maker, pasta kitchen, hot dog stand :facepalm::facepalm::facepalm:XDXD
Now I'm wondering what am I producing all the day. Lol
Do you make jewelry or just sell the bars? I thought when I started playing that I would buy every machine but now I don't think I will. Decisions decisions, XDXDQuote:

Many people try to get 3 stars on all machines. That's why there are so many red hats and tofu dogs for sale (they are easier to make than other goods on these machines).

The candy sells great in the RSS, it's fun to give away as treats to friends, and they go fast in the town.
Candy also brings great XP.
I also have "a real blast" mining, smelting, making and selling jewelry. I have all 5 smelters, and try to keep them running 24/7. The bars are great for keeping the jeweler running (jewelry brings in a lot of coins, XP and vouchers), and to upgrade your personal train.
Anything you you make on these machines, you can sell, so if you have the coins and land space to purchase them, it will help you advance in the game.

Some say it's too much hassle and I agree, but having the extra dairy/sugar when you need it solves an even bigger hassle. :)
Most people play the areas of the game that interest them. Some won't do town or truck orders so may find certain machines are not used much but as you progress in the game you may find yourself doing more and more and all of the machines will be needed. At my level 138 I play all aspects of the game and find all machines are usually running, as I help out all of my neighbourhood. Hay Day is an ever changing game depending on your point of interest at the time but I would recommend that if you can afford them buy all machines along the way.
