Don't allow members with "new" member in a clan to see traps and war logs as long as "new" is written. Just like you can't see traps of other players if you are not in their clan, same should be the case with "newly" recruited members.

War spying is not a problem to be solved. It is a metagame to be played within the game. You just need to have better policies.
We have a long standing policy that we accept no new anonymous members who arent currently eligible for war between the time a war starts and the time it finishes.
If an existing member vouches for a player, such as recruiting them in globals or just knowing them in real life, we allow those players to join.
And we have ~20 players from ally clans that spy for us and we spy for in return.
I *love* war spying. It makes the game so much fun when you can get multiple spies into the clan and then start talking to yourselves about the enemy clan or when you thank them for the intel.
Would be nice, but SC has said in their ingame help and support that this is a part of the game they're not going to get rid of. Spys are extremely annoying and usually rather rude about it. I feel like it's pretty low and dirty, but it can currently be kind of stopped. Just set it to invite only and don't except anyone before checking if they are from the other team in the war. This only stops people actually in the war, but at least it's something.
So odd this is an issue.
Don't accept during war? It seems fairly obvious?
You don't even have to close the clan. Reject random requests and stick with direct invites or people you know.
You can instead just close the clan for preparation day but i think so that it will not solve the problem for clans having clan wars every time
If it aint broke, dont fix it. That would be really sad if supercell actually implemented anti-spying techniques. If you let me in during your war, i am now a member of your clan and i have a right to see your war bases.
