I feel like far too often I am upgrading a building or archer queen or whatever and I have to wait 10 days yet I have 2 or 3 other builders inactive. For a small fee could we use several builders and of course cut down on time?

Sounds like a Boom Beach upgrade timer which is much faster than on CoC but limited to only one builder which people have complained about (since players might just use as much builders on one task as possible to cut down time as low as possible).

Why does so many players want to speed up build times!!!!It's all part of the game and so that everyone advances at different lvls and abilities.
I'm waiting for someone to suggest a super gem that'll Max out a whole village in one go!!!!!
Why is it ruled out? I could see why you could use 1 builder on a 4 day upgrade or stack 2 builders to make it 2 days. Many hands make light work.
agreed, why not add ability to employ all builders to build one building? lets say build time is 10 hrs, putting 2 builders cuts down to let's say 5 hrs, adding more builders to the task you could half the time even more .... that would be excellent feature!

In light, if i have a building to be upgraded and its to take 10 days and i have 4 builders.i put two builders on the project it takes five days. Right? If i put 3 builders on it it takes 2.5 days. And my 4 h builder would in turn make it 1.75 days or 1d16 hrs. And if i had the 5 th builder.... i hope you see now why it is ruled out. At this rate i would be a maxed th 10 pushing 11 in no time flat.
