Town Hall 9.5 trap upgrade question

Those of you that went the 9.5 route, did you upgrade the Giant Bombs and Air Traps to max level early on? Is it worth doing this, for war weight purposes, or not recommended at all?

I'm in my third week of 9.5 coming from a fully maxed nine, having upgraded camps and cc to max so far, no new th10 defenses built or upgraded yet. King is 30, Queen is going to 33. I'm trying to not attract any heavy th tens to the war lineup with my base, while at the same time making it as strong as possible.

Bonus question: how heavy are teslas in war? Worth upgrading early on? I am strongly considering maxing them in order to give my base a bit more of a defensive punch in war yet still keeping it light.

I don't know the answer for sure but I think you're OK to upgrade the traps.

Upgrading the tesla's make sense anyway. It will probably bring some weight though not nearly the weight of the new infernos or x-bow.

I didn't upgrade the GB as a 9.5 and not even now while nearing the end of my TH 10 carreer.

I think that the last level of the GB only brings disadvantages, mainly due to it's increased radius. I use the GB mainly to kill wiz, arch and witch. ( I never get attacked by hogs). I put the GB's away from the defenses so they are not easily triggered by tankers like giants or gol. The increased radius would make it more likely that they are triggered by the wrong troops. And even below max level their damage is more then enough to kill a wiz.
