So we are now in a war where we are not quite sure how this matchup came about.
1st our clan:
1 TH11, 3 TH10s, 8 TH9s, 12 TH8s, and 1 TH7.
Opponents clan:
2 TH11s, 5 TH10s, 6 TH9s, 12 TH8s
I've looked at heroes, hero lvls, troop lvls, Defensive building lvls,... I just don't see a reason this pairing happened as it is all in favor of the other team.
This happens all the time to us... also with the clan perks difference our first wars were always against lvl 5 clans plus which puts them at a big advantage still when we are lvl 4 we always get matched up with lvl 7+ clans with more th10s 9s 11s I don't get it.Quote:

This is our current war:
we have 4 TH11, they have 5.
we have 2 TH10, they have 1.
we have 10 TH9, they have 13.
the rest are TH8 and below that make no difference.
Their top bases have better heroes and much better defenses.
This war is mathematically impossible to win unless the opp is very, very bad at playing. So how can this match happen? And it's not the first time, not the third, not the fourth... it's the normal. And no, we do not have rushed bases.
This is a constant issue with our clan.
Recently we had;
Our clan: Th9 x 5, Th8 x 7, TH7 x 8
Opponent: TH11 x 1, Th10 x 4, Th9 x 10 etc.
It's ridiculous!!
We get these kind of match ups all the time!
I would love to know what the criteria is and how the matches are made!!
I question if someone from supercell is looking into this issue or not. At least an acknowledgment post saying heard and looking into it would be GREATLY appreciated. I actually don't mind occasionally being outmatched but a blatant matchup that is no where near fair isn't fun.
Our clan is not matching up at all in past few months. We have won 3 out of past 20 wars, only because the enemy had low turn out on their side. Our group have watched videos and studied replays to learn strategies without much help, because realistically to win these horrible match ups, we can only cross our fingers and hope the are really bad or give up. Otherwise, we know pretty much within a few mins of prep day our war, we don't stand a chance & wont win. Some of our clan drop out or leave. Some just wont attack. Including our leaders! Our clan is loosing if not lost interest in CW's and are opting out or moving to a non war clan. SAD! PLEASE FIX! Maybe to fix problem... if you lost last 3 wars throw in an easier match up to keep interests going. Maybe give us an opt out button when we see the miss match within the first hour. Let us choose our battles within a perimeter of skill levels. Interests is dwindling fast and cost to battle is lost due to these horrible match ups that we are considering not to war anymore just farm. Make more profits that way. COME ON SC! FIX THIS! Loosing Interests FAST!
An acknowledgment would be nice indeed. War match use to work great up until a few months ago. I don't know how war match is calculated, but it seems it does not take into account TH levels. As an example: 4 TH11 vs 6 TH11 is ridiculous. 4 TH11 can hit 8 targets, 6 TH11 can hit 12. Hello. Anyone there?Quote:
