Adjusting combat time based on differences in Town Hall levels at least in wars
Ran into a clan using TH8's and TH9's with single cannon to sandbag them lower on the list. Fortunately our rooks can handle this and we dropped them all however there is still the TH11 beats up on th10s 9s etc. So I was thinking what if the timer were changed based on TH differences. So for instance Time - (((25 * (attacker TH - Defender TH)) + (3^(Attacker TH - Defender TH)))?
So th10 attacks a th7 then 3:30 - (25 * 3) + 3*3*3 or 1:48 timer causing the attacker to have to hurry instead of trickle feeding a few troops for cleanup.
TH10 vs TH9 3:30 - (25 + 3) or 3:02 timer
TH9 vs TH10 (3:30 - (-25 + -3)) or 3:58 allowing a different troop set with the extra time.
Set limit of 5 min max and 1 min minimum on the timer.
This would make cleanup more challenging, allow lower Town Halls more time vs Higher Town Halls in a mismatch setting thus solving some of the matching issues using only the timer.
Now I fully expect the TH11's to run over this like a freight train over a tricycle but it would make TH mismatches closer allowing the weaker attacker to run extra low damage troops like Golems or Hounds because they have more time to work with. And people who seek easy 3's will still have to work because they will be short on time.
Just trying to improve the war mismatches using a simple time adjustment but this could also be used in normal base attacks.
