SuperCell need to face the reality that they aren't providing their customers with sufficient in-game information to know how to play this game properly. Even those that visit the forums regularly (which is probably < 0.01% of their customer base) still don't know the basic rules of this game.
I also had a TH7 in my clan above 2000 trophies too, he had no idea about different trophy ranges, loot bonuses etc.
Yes, TH7 would be more suitable to farm at around 1100 trophies, but would he know that he's supposed to purposely lose trophies to be there? Put yourself in his shoes, i'm sure you were the same way before you became forum trolls.
He seems he's aware that his defenses suck, he's complaining about the amount of trophies he loses because he's being revenged by people he beat on his way up to 2k+ trophies.
If PlayerA attacked PlayerB (both around 1200 trophies) and won or lost 12 trophies, then 3 weeks later PlayerA climbed up to 2400 trophies, then PlayerB revenged PlayerA for 45 trophies, does that seem fair? I think not. Why should he be punished more because he climbed trophies?

At his trophy range, people don't leave their loot outside, and I rarely see much in collectors either.
He's not just losing his trophies in revenges, he's getting 3 star by people, losing his resources too.
You don't know how much loot he stole from them, don't be a ♥♥♥♥ stirrer by making assumptions.
Personally I am a TH8 and I farm at 1100-1250 trophies, which is optimal for the best loot counts and the advantage of not having to use expensive troops like P.E.K.K.A.S. or Dragons (Not that expensive but expensive compared to other troops) So get down a thousand trophies or so and then you will find the game easier....

Sure losing 45 trophies is frustrating but being a TH7 he shouldn't even be up there in the first place. Loot bonuses are tempting but if you go up there and steal huge amounts of loot dont expect no retaliation. OP should know what he is getting into and if he doesn't well tough luck, deal with it. In all of his three stars he didnt lose more than 100k resources so "poor poor OP" right?

The flaming has gone long enough. From seeing this thread, OP should now realize the game is not just about raiding others but also getting raided yourself... so stop crying like a baby if you get raided because it's part of the game and you're in a territory of high leveled players so get used to being 3 starred.

I think it is totally fair that a better opponent can take you down a notch when you are totally out of your league.:p
The only thing that affects trophies gained/lost is what trophy level the attacker and defender have. Revenges or townhall level has absolutely no effect on how many trophies you gain or lose in a attack or defend.Quote:
