Going to TH11

Just curious what everyone thinks about going to th11 now. I know its always a personal decision but what would you recommend someones base to be before they jump to th11? Max defenses, maxed lab, lvl 30+ heroes, lavas? Obviously you can say just max th10 but do you think it is worth it? With only a few new defenses being available (as of now) for th11 and a lab upgrades plus the GW, would it make sense to go a little earlier to th11 especially after the bump to the EA? How has your th11 experience been so far?

I've been a TH10 for about a 2 months, and I'm going to TH11 now. I have a lvl 40 queen, and max ITs. I also was fully maxed as a TH9 before going to 10.

For me, I see no point in dumping elixir into walls during 14 day troop upgrade time. So I'd much rather be dumping that elixir into the warden.

I completely understand that, i think you are making the right choice. Right now i am dumping that elixir into walls until i get my heroes up because i didnt max walls and heroes before th10. It is kinda a waste in my opinion to be using that elixir on the walls when i could easily be putting it towards the GW, who i cant wait to use.

Go to th11, if u have heroes over 25+ u will be fine, elixir is hard to come by thats all I will say.

Do you think with (hopefully) SC coming out with more th11 updates in the future that it would be smarter to try and work out th10 now or just go to th11 and work on some of the th10 upgrades while being on th11?

I went to TH11 with max troops and max defenses but 35/35 heroes. Also had about 60% lvl 10 walls and the rest lvl 9. I am loving TH11. Not only does the GW make raiding a lot of fun, but I also do not feel the loot penalty one bit. I stay in Champ 3 so I never attacked TH9's to begin with. If you are used to attacking TH10s, farming will not change for you. The only thing about farming is that you will need to sacrifice either elixir or dark elixir. It is hard to save both at the same time since you'll be attacking with full armies. When I need to save elixir, I will use more golems and witches... When I need dark elixir I use 2 golems and 12-20 giants and wiz/pekkas, no witches.

Once I got to TH11, I upgraded the GW non stop til he was 10. If the timing matched up where he would be available for a war, I would use him for 2 war attacks right away then get him upgrading again.Fi

Find a decent base to protect your loot and you'll be good.

Do you, as a TH11, notice a big difference with regards to offerings in multiplayer? As a TH10 I get offered mostly TH10 and some TH 9 and TH11. As a TH 11 what would be your estimation on offerings TH 10 vs TH 11 (in leagues below Champ)?

Just became th11 last night, I was surprised really by the loot offerings. It doesn't feel much different than TH10, you just don't see TH9's really. So far I'm loving TH11.

I have not seen a huge drop off.. I was in Champs 2 when the update dropped.
went down to gold and am lingering in C1-2 working on Gob based attacks on my way up.. aiming to park bak in Ch2 eventually.

I notice a few 9s (they unlucky see my troops when I want an easy star bonus:p)
plenty of weaker 10s and 11s to strong 10s and 11s regularly show in my search cue. been fun running gobs through the heart of developed TH11s with my GW! and coming out with a bunch of loot and a star (sometimes they even get a 30% shield).

but to answer your question, I think its ok, up in champs I imagine its more maxed bases and GoWiXX hunting for loots and trophies (which was why I left back at update drop, it was an expensive way to get a shield) Ill have a maxed Eagle and 4th X-Bow soon, so Ill be able to hang a bit more defensively me thinks.

TBH, I am considering taking my mature TH10 acct to TH11 to start on the warden (but my royals are low and my defenses/lab aren't quite maxed for 10 yet, so im heistant; and I have one TH11 already so im not 'missing out' ya know?)

I think when you're out of important things to spend elixir on (whether it be just walls or maybe a few lab things that you dont really use) then I say head up to grab the warden so you can at least start leveling him sooner than later.

Biggest difference in MM is that as a th11 you wont see th9s very much anymore. I moved up to 11 without infernos maxed, walls full lego and heroes at lvl20, so far I am progressing fine and have been keeping builders busy with all the new goodies and levels. And now that the warden has been bought already, lab is upgraded I really dont need elixir for anything other than building armies or leveling up the warden.
