I am really over the Christmas theme. It's been months and months. It's now February and we still have Christmas lights! Hay Day creators, can we please in the future only have the Christmas theme for the month of December? It feels like laziness to me.
Agreed, February and still Christmas. :facepalm:
Even my 5 year old daughter was complaining about it when she saw me playing Hay Day last night.
I believe it's actually a winter theme, not a Christmas theme, for the most part. Although I do agree, enough is enough already, get rid of the theme and put the farms back to normal please!
I just want the lights gone. I don't mind the snow so much. It would be so easy to provide an update after December just to get rid of lights.
If this year is anything like last year, we will be getting an optional remove-the-winter-theme update very soon. Like this week soon. ;)
I like the little snowflakes. They remind me of the blossoms falling from my real life, Bradford Pear trees in the Spring. The Christmas lights don't bother me too much, although it is time for an update.:o

I love the lights. I'd like more lights. I even posted a suggestion that we have coloured lights that we can string together like the fences. I love it when I go into a RL shopping area and they have pretty fairy lights wrapped around the trees and hanging from the verandas. Pretty, twinkly lights make me happy. I like happy.

I totally agree! Christmas is way over and it's just laziness on the part of Supercell. Makes me wonder if they aren't losing interest in the game. Maybe it's not as profitable for them anymore and they have moved on. In any case, the most annoying part to me are the animal costumes. I think those are silly
anyway. Now we have to deal with them almost year round. About the time they take the antlers off they will be putting sunglasses and snorkels on them. Ridiculous!
would be nice if players had control over the holiday 'skins', holiday, summer, fall or basic. I feel it is kinda silly to have a Valentine's event with Christmas lights still on the house :rolleyes:
I think it's ridiculous that we still have christmas trees and presents on the loading screen. It's February! How hard would it have been to take the christmas (not winter) things off? Honestly, I think it seems so lazy.

I'm guessing the "winter" theme will go away once SC releases the next update. So the better question isn't when is winter theme going away, it's when's the next update??
