Fishing Nets

I know there is a regular fishing net and a mystery net for 5 Diamonds.

I have used the 1 free Mystery Net you get and got 3 expansion items with it, which was nice!

My questions are.

1) Do you ALWAYS get 3 expansion items with the Mystery Net? Or at times more/less?

2) Can you EVER get any expansion items with regular nets? If so at what approximate odds?

Side note: Fishing is a fun part of the game, didn't expect fishing to go into detail like this instead more like the mine. Love it, really rings home with me as my dad is a avid fisherman. :)

From regular nets you never get anything but three fish. At least it's consistent. ;)

I don't think you always get expansion items from special nets. My recollection is that it can be any item - nails, screws, deeds, decorations, etc. But, it's been a long time since I spent diamonds on a net so I could be wrong. :)

At this point, many players are done expanding. Expansion items should be easier to find in the digest. If there are higher level players in your hood, make sure they know you're still needing expansion items! We didn't post ours in the dd till everyone was done expanding, and I bet most hoods do that that way.

Sometime you get deco items, sometimes you get produce, such as jars of jam. If you are very, very, VERY lucky, you might, just might, get the hallowed Pearl of the Sea.

You are getting good information, and the fishing area is delightful! I find it very restful to toss out a line with a worm on it. I love that you can make all the fishing gear you need without spending any coins/diamonds...except for that mystery net. I have never made a mystery net. As far as I can tell, the only reason to do so is if, like Glade suggests, you have your eye on a Pearl of the Sea. Someday, many levels from now, when I have all my machine production slots open, I might consider using diamonds to make a mystery net; but there are too many other things that I need my diamonds for. So plain nets for me.

I've got the pearl of the sea and until I had it and mentioned it didn't realise it was so coveted! I am not actually that keen on it lol. Sometimes you get less than 5/6 items. I've had coloured lures, expansion items, decorations, even sugar. It's just random. Unless you want the pearl I personally wouldn't spend diamonds on it. I don't anymore, unless I'm feeling diamond rich as I do like the little mini feeling of Christmas morning!!!

Thanks for all the information guys, knowing you can win some colored lures also is appealing.

I don't expect to do many Mystery Nets at the moment, but in the future I'd certainly like to. :)
