Can I 3 stars this base with lvl4 Dragons and Archer Queen?

sam good luck, as you say you've maxed farm not war troops. If you're going to 3 star in war as a TH10 my understanding is you'll want to Max Golems, Hounds, Freeze Spell as well as getting Jump to Level 2.

In the short term you can probably 2 star a lot of 10s if you get your Dragons to L5 but I think 3 stars will be very rare and very base dependent.

On the bright side, your heroes are pretty good.

One thing you might want to check out is some videos using 5 Level 7 lightning and EQ on bases where you can take out an Inferno, the CC before they deploy and close by AQ who walks through the lightning drops. Again very base specific but looked like a powerful attack against the right layout.

I don't mind when folks screw up an attack, unless it is like very war and the same mistake over and over.

But it really irks me when we lose a close war and someone who might have picked up stars to flip the war from L to W doesn't get in that 2nd attack.

Again, I'd mock far before I'd truly get mad, but yes, that's clearly annoying. But that's not what happened here.

Yeah I agree. In this case no need for the OPs clan to be upset with him.

Easy. By upgrading heroes and not dark troops.

Because up until now he's been a framer and hasn't warred much if at all.

Thus no need to sit out wars while heroes are upgrading which is one of the road blocks to many war players getting high level heroes.

Ok, here is what happened, I was tasked to attack a rushed TH10 (Max TH8 defenses with a few TH9 Defenses), so I had no trouble 3 staring this base, and the other guy was supposed to attack an easy TH8 base and 3 star it, but somehow he only 2 stared it, so at this point they were ahead of us with 2 stars, and it was up to me to 3 star this base to win the war or at least 2 star it and get tied.

But again, I'm a farmer and I don't know that much about war, and I really tried my best, and thanks to tyler4's comment, I thought I'm screwed anyway, so I'll just attack this base with a full dragons army, and hope for the best, but sadly I failed.

and a couple of the top players in my clan messed up their 2nd attacks, earlier in this war, but I guess as we are the "new guys" in this clan and we attacked the last, they were mad at us.

but on a positive note, the clan was recently promoted, so they weren't mad enough (I guess) to kick us.

Thanks for your advice Klavious I'll upgrade my Dragons to level 5, then I'll concentrate on Maxing Golems, Lava hounds and then Freeze Spell.

I was using all of the DE I get to upgrade my heroes, and at this level, it costs a fortune to upgrade each hero, and as a farmer I have no use for the DE troops (Except minions of course).

I'm trying to upgrade both of my heroes to level 30. then I'll stop and concentrate on upgrading other DE troops.

You had absolutely no chance at three stars with dragons.. and if you're going to come on here asking for three stars with zero war experience and zero war troops ready for advice on threeing a TH10 (something that is extremely difficult for people with tons of experience and max war troops), you're going to be made fun of.

I really wouldn't bother with dragons, you need your dark troops up ASAP.

Also, it's ludicrous that they saved the attacks of the new guys for last. If I have a new account of someone who I know has no war experience, they're attacking first and I'm letting us see what they can do and anticipate cleaning up after them. Don't get down on yourself, you were hopeless to begin with and they had a poor war attack management strategy. Not in any way your fault you lost if they took you and you followed their instructions.
