Hey guys, I need a guide of what to attack with as a fresh TH7 to get as much DE for the king as I can. I only have level 3 troops, level 1 healer, and in 2 or so days my giants will be level 4. I am in Gold III. Thanks for viewing this post.:thumbsup::cool:;)
Do you have dragons? If so, 3 zaps on an AD and dragons flowing towards a TH8's dark is usually a pretty failsafe DE farming strategy. Also familiarize yourself with what drills look like. What level they are. What does the black box on top look like? If you war, often it's fairly easy to 50% a TH9 with dragons if your clan permits loot attacks. That will gain you a solid amount of DE.
Using Dragons is a pretty easy way to 3 star most bases but keep in mind that it's also very expensive to build. I prefer Barch with Giants thrown in for farming. It's a faster build time and you can target weaker bases and get more loot over time with this strategy.
As for wars, definitely go with Dragons. Good luck!
Edit: I'm not sure what level all of your buildings are at but feel free to follow this upgrade priority list: http://game-brain.com/clash-of-clans...rade-priority/. Try to max your DE drill and storage first followed by maxing out the upgrades for your farming and war troops.
He is Absolutely right, Giants and Barch (GiBarch) is in my opinion, the best strategy to get dark elixir at TH7. Also, don't be afraid to snipe dark from full pumps and lose trophies. In all honesty, dark is important, but at TH7, there is only 3 different things to do with it, your king, minions, and hogs. I'd personally max hogs and king and leave minions to the end unless you want to learn BAM or Loonian.Quote:

Thanks guys, I don't have Dragons quite yet, and they take up lots of time and elixir. I use 90/90 barch with 2 lightning, (soon to be 3 once SF is upgraded) usually gets me the fifty percent, but the DE is in center. I can't really reach the core. I also ask for any cc troops, and get level 4 giants - 4 of them. GiBarch is pretty nice, but I can't get to the center of DE. I got 198 DE for a war a couple hours ago with 6 stars, of course the TH7s I beat up were incredibly rushed, and one base had about 80% free, and all the defenses bunched up. The other one used double walls, and my CC - Dragon, comes into use since the AD is so exposed. War is all I can think of, and don't want to take 12 days to get 3 lvl 9 barracks just for dragons. The DE is very important, and I was considering dropping trophies. The only people I find in Gold III are TH6s with no DE, and fresh TH7s with no DE, and the drills and storages in the center. I was planning on getting a DE Drill as well, but 1mil elixir is hard to get, and I spent 750k for my Giants. And yes, I am an air attacker sometimes. I will learn Loonion for war, since most TH7s and TH8s (fresh) get beat up 3*d. Thanks for the tips :cool::thumbsup:;)Quote:

Ok, I always underestimate goblins, yet they really are useful. Thanks for the tips. If your TH7 was "mini", how did you max it in 5-6 days? Gems, or 5 builders with gems? I just got some DE from star bonus, and am keeping it. I wish I could get gems a little faster, so I could gem my lab and do GiBarch with 2 heal and 1 rage for the DE. There are not many players with a lot of DE, though. Thanks :thumbsup:;):cool:
I didn't max the account at th7 yet, I just carried over a ton of resources from TH6 and raided up a bunch more. All I'm saying is that if you can employ some good gob strategies you can get the good upgrades started fast. I'll still have a ton of upgrades to do as I only have 3 builders on this account. By mini-mini I mean my 3rd account. Keep looking for an Xbow building on the outside of a TH9 base. Typically it will be a 3by3 building being constructed. It will give you 100 gems I think. I haven't bought any gems on this base and it's typically been used only for war thus far. Don't super stress out about your king yet, it's nice to have and a milestone in the game. But it doesn't really even get interesting til level 5
