trying to remember a global event prize we failed to win

Does anybody remember about a year or so ago we had a global event (I think it was for Chinese New Year) in which we failed to win the community prize (I believe it was a gong)?

If anybody has a screenshot of it I'd appreciate if they could post it.

I was hoping they were going to offer it again as the grand prize for this year's Chinese New Year event and brought it up in our NH chat. But some guys were saying they dont remember a special chinese themed prize being offered before.

Thanks, I'm just trying to guage how far into senilty my memory has slided.

I think you are remembering the "Christmas Bell" that we failed to win for Christmas 2014. It looks a bit like a gong. It's certainly big enough. It was offered for sale this past Christmas. (I didn't buy one, so I can't post a photo.) We also failed to win the gramophone that was the event prize for New Year 2015. There was no special deco prize for Lunar New Year last year.

I was wondering what was the global prize in last year's Valentine's day. In 2014, guess it was Cupid statue. So I think there was something in 2015 too that we missed. Oops I went off-topic sorry op :o

Not too far off topic, princepretty! Part of the original question was what was the last global goal we missed. There was no Valentine's special prize last year. I'm sure about that because I wasn't around for the 2014 "Stupid Cupid" Valentine prize; we didn't get the Christmas or New Year's prizes; and the only one I had been around for that we won was the Vampire Trick-or-Treat Pig for Halloween 2014. I had been really looking forward to something special for Valentine's Day,

I'm thrilled that we have an event for Lunar New Year again this year--I'm filling boats and looking forward to lucky 8 diamonds. I'm also hoping for something special for Valentine's Day this year.

OMC. I'm sure Mini is right & you are thinking about the Christmas Bell, easily mis remembered as a gong! I'd post a picture of mine, but I can't seem to get that to work :(. Sorry. However, I'm sure someone will soon or if you take a look on Greg's farm it's quite close to his Level 100 tree, right hand side of his farm.

I would have loved the prize for this event to have been a deco rather than diamonds. I rather fancy a monkey on my farm 🙊😁

Oh thx mini for answering, I wasn't playing HD back then and these festiv events use to bring excitement before sadly not anymore :(

I think you're right. Some guys in my NH said they too thought it was a bell during the discussion that lead to this thread. Yeah I can see how I ended up confusing the two.

Too bad. I started this thread with the hope that my memory would be vindicated with a screenshot that I could take back and present to them with a very self-satisfied "Tah-daaa!"

Last year's Valentine's day event was a 3x coins and 3x vouchers boat event, so not an event with a global prize.
