DE farming startegy for high/max TH9?

To any TH9 out there farming for DE, what is your army composition and which league are you in?

I have a max th9 (except for walls and heros). I've been using 20 giants, 49 barbs, 50 archers, 8 wbs, 1 hog, 2 heals, 2 jumps, 1 poison (and some various CC troops and a spell). I try to limit two regular spells and 1 dark spell per raid to shorten the training time. I am in Gold 3.

I farm about 4-5 hrs per day, with some more hrs during weekends. I could upgrade King or Queen once per week. I can't farm enough to do both at the same time. My King is lvl 16, Queen is 19. I am already slowing down now as I need more DE for higher levels.

It would be great if you can share your experience farming DE with only one hero or without any. Do you find dead bases a lot? I don't find as many as before 2015 Dec update (even after they said they've fixed that bug hiding dead bases).

In my experience, I have to target DE storage most of the time as there are very few collector raids. Sometimes, I could get to the DE, but not all the time. So the post from Brandon doesn't really help much now as his post is mainly for the old clash and using zapping and doing collector raids mostly.

I've been able to keep the king down every week using the 4 healers and an AQ 20. King has gone from 20 -> to upgrading to 23 and I'll have enough to put him down again after this weekend war. I've also had enough t o do Minions 5 and Valks 4 while upgrading the king. I'm usually swimming in DE by the time I need to drop a hero and am below 50K in DE usually for less than a day. Though when I put the BK23 and Valks 4 on the same day I was below 50K for 2 days.

The boosted drills helped during the 1 gem event but most of it was from raids an I'm finding what I get back from the loot cart is just a little less than I was getting from boosted drills.

I've been in Masters 3 for the last 3 weeks.

After the 4 healers and queen you can pretty much build whatever support army you want to go with it depending on your raid style and how long you want it to build.

I've had great luck filling each barrack with the following troops to get to 220: 1 healer, 4 giants, 1 wall breaker, 10 archers, 9 goblins. 3 rage, 1 heal. I only use the heal if the giants can do some damage and I try to limit it to 1 rage on the healers when queen comes under heavy fire from multiple point defenses or defensing heroes.

With the loot bonus I've been averaging over 2,500 DE per raid.

I try to avoid TH10s with infernos.

I opted to finish my queen to 30 after they were both 20/20

then used SQ when my queen was up.

Thanks. So you are using the queen walk strategy with the AQ and 4 healers, am I right? I will try that when my queen reaches lvl 20. But for this strategy to work, won't you need the air defenses that are either exposed or not too deep in the base?

You just need to keep the healers behind the AQ. The ADs can't hit the healers unless they "get sideways to them" which can happen if you path the queen incorrectly.

The biggest issue is multiple point defenses targeting the queen that the healers can't keep up with. Or if you bring Giants them getting too close and taking the healers from the queen. It takes a bit of practice getting the funnel down for the AQ but once you do you can core almost any TH9 for the DE storage, TH and any G/E storages along the path to it.

SQ is short for Super Queen. I believe that involves bringing 6-8 healers for the AQ though the December update seems to have nerfed healers #5 & 6 a little and a lot for any more than 6 healers on a single target, namely the queen.

Using a gibarch + hog. A guide from eternal.
Barack 1 : 3giant + 2wall breaker + rest barb
Barack 2,3,4 : 3giant + 2wall breaker + rest arcer

Dark barak 1,2 : 4 hog each

Spell : rage - heal - rage - heal (usually use only 2 spell/raid)
Dark spell : poison only.

This way you will get 12giant + 8 wall breaker + 8 hog and rest is barch. This comp is good for colector and storage base. Been using this comp from silver 3 to crystal 3. Loot is the same. You can farm gold,elix and DE at the same time. Work with or without heroes. With this army comp i can upgrade my heroes nonstop and walls.

I usually attack with 20 giant, two healers, some 10 magicians, 6 break walls and the rest of archers and take a jump two cures and fury, I'm recent village center 9 my queen is still on level 4 yet but I attack center villages of nine full and can steal the black elixir that is my focus at the moment, I want to level up my queen until 10, I could have let my level 5 corridor, generally can steal 2000 black elixir, I always try towns with 2,000 or more.

Queen walk ( aq 15+ 4 healer lvl 4) 4 quake spells to clear the path to de , clear lateral parts with giants and archers, go only for 2.5k+bases with dark mostly in storage + th (best league = crystal 1 to master 1)

If you need to loot, You have to use troops who are made for it.
