Sorry but that is just a naive viewpoint - a business buys another business to make as much money as possible. Why else would they have 73.2% of the shares - so they have a complete controlling interest. They have to make their billions back and then the billions of profit they want. The last bulk purchase was only 7 months ago.

Softbank is calling the tune here and they will change anything to make more money - or as Jean Baptister Colbert put it so well '...they will continue to pluck the goose to get the most feathers with the least amount of hissing...'

First of all, it's not naive. I was talking about them changing the text on their "mission statement" part of their about page.
If SB was causing them to change the way they operate, the new views would have been posted there, and not keeping their old ways. That way, they could not get called out on it.

Change it to what....' Our mission is to get as much money as possible from our customers' because that is the reality when they bought a controlling interest.

probably easier to keep the mission statement as it was for PR reasons.

I'm sorry but when someone owns anything more than 50% of shares, they own the company. They are the final say for everything.

Also just in case you haven't been watching the stock market, I've noticed Softbank stock has been declining in value since 2014. It's entirely pheasable that Softbank is predicting a dry year and would be willing to squeeze money out of SC.

Remember this: Workers are compassionate but workers are just numbers providing more numbers. If they don't see a long term payout, Clash will be on its way out.
The only defense I can give you is that Japanese businessmen think well into the future and maybe they do see a long term in clash.

This misconception again? That's not how business works. You can purchase as much stake as you want in a company but you can't purchase a controlling interest. At the most SoftBank has a say when it comes to operating costs; these would include building leases and energy consumption.
