Just because they think you're ridiculous it doesn't mean they even like the update. You clearly think too much of yourself.
i agree.
And to be honest, when i startd this game i thought it was an odd part of the game. But, i adapted, and moved on.Game updates came and went, i adapted and moved on. Troop nerfs came and went, I adapted and moved on. These little things had negligible effect on myself, and our clan. We all still had fun.
But, to remove th sniping, after years, had a profound effect. Its not the same game.It looks like the same game, but the mechanics and the ecosystem are not the same.
TH sniping became a core function of the game. It WAS the game.
Sorry bout the big cut on quote. Regarding 'toxicity', I think a liberal sprinkling of 'man-up' should always be applied, and I do love a good argument.
Regarding bit actually quoted....ok. So, how do you go about changing that experience?
(For the more liberal minded in here, this is in no way a dismissal of Romeo's opinion) how can you improve your game experience, and later your clan's, with minimal change in play habits and style?
It is an online game, and they DO change sometimes. Just not usually in such a sweeping fashion.
So, how do you like to play? Low league, high league, session or raid-train-log off come back in an hour?
Honestly. Unless you were purely a snipe farmer, or defenceless war MM exploiter, the game is only broken if you want it to be.
If you can figure out how to get your fun back in clash, you can spread that through your clan.
I did. Had my suspicions of what would work during the sneak peeks, and shared them. Revised those in early days post-update.
Still have active clan.
Do you realize, that if everyone had not went the route of TH sniping, then SC may never have removed it?
It got to where TH snipes were the majority of attacks, according to SC, and that there were so few actual full attacks, that SC had to remove it.
While TH sniping was around, I too, had my TH outside. Kicking myself for that now, indeed. every single attack I ever had against me, while TH was outside, was a TH snipe. On ALL my accounts.
Sorry. If it was not so globally abused, TH's would more likely still get shields.
But, the player brought this change on, ourselves.
I agree. I think there has been some valid points made but now it's just such a mess with everyone on all sides so angry everything gets drowned out anyway.
There can be compromise. Higher leagues, no TH sniping, lower leagues with newer players it remains.
This is like Professional Baseball telling t-ballers they cant play with the tee anymore. Thats not the way the game is intended to be played, so they ban its use. And drive the Fresh Spawns away, and then wonder why nobody cares to play baseball anymore, and parents and players are upset.
Every game has it's exploits. In Halo I can reach places you couldn't imagine because I can throw a grenade, land out it and then hop off of it to a spot most wouldn't think of.
Call of Duty has quickscoping, using the auto-aim feature where you have a the briefest of moments to fire a deadly bullet directly in the middle of your screen without worry of sway or deviation.
Bloons Tower Defense, if you reduce the quality to minimum you can actually fit more defenses in an area than you could on high graphics (idky but it works)
Clash Royale if you place a witch and tombstone in a corner at the same time, the witch will be stuck in the corner endless generating skeletons.
Look every single game has it's exploits. The best players learn to use the exploits to their advantage. TH sniping just so happened to require the least amount of training/knowledge in order to use it. It just so happens that that exploit turned into a huge meta that 80% of players used. So in a sense of majority rule, it was a core mechanic as well an exploit.
