How would this base best be 3 starred?

Hi guys,

I've attacked this type of base before but I always have no luck. What I usually try to do is just the giant healer strategy but my giants never get in. How would you 3 star this base? If you give me some pointers that'd be great for improving my game. Thanks.

This base is EXTREMELY common as a TH6, and, without the right strategy, a royal pain in the butt to take out. However, with my third account which just started going up to TH7 a few days ago, I perfected attacking this base. Here's what I used:

-10 Giants
-4 Healers
-8 Wizards
-Barbarians to fill out army camps

As far as spells, I took 2 heals. The beauty behind this attack lies in what you take in the CC- 4 Max Hog Riders.

The general idea is this:
-Lure and kill CC (I tried to use as few troops as possible, typically took between 18-20 troop space to accomplish this. Watch Powerbang's guide on YouTube for killing a CC dragon to become a master at it)
-Drop 5 Giants by point defenses (in the case of the base you showed, I'd target the Cannons on the left first) IMMEDIATELY followed by 2 Healers. Then do the same by the other most concentrated group of point defenses, in the case of the base you had shown, the exposed Archer Tower in the east.
-Drop your CC hogs on any point defense that is NOT firing on the Giants (in the case of the base shown, the northern AT or southern Cannon are great choices.
-Use heal spells on your Hogs if one of the point defenses start targeting them, the goal is to keep as many hogs alive as possible. You don't need to worry about mortar or wizard tower fire; they do nothing to max hogs.

The reason this strategy works is because the Giants+2 Healers can distract almost all of the defenses, leaving your CC hogs to run around and destroy every last defensive building, sometimes without ever being shot at by a point defense. After all the defenses are down, drop your remaining troops to clean the base and collect your 3 star.
