I was wondering if anyone had advice in attacking this base. I was thinking just come through the south with golems, or through the top by earthquake spelling the clumped walls. Any advice on how this is commonly attacked would be appreciated.
The troops I have are
lvl 15 King
lvl 14 Queen
Lvl 1 Golem, WItch
lvl 3 pekka, Dragon
lvl 5 wizards, wallbreakers, Hogs,Baloons
lvl 6 giants
GoHo. 3 golems, 24 hogs, 4 heals, 8 wiz
Bring you golems in from the SE broad side (to take down cc and queen and expose a lot of traps down in the southern area) you can heal this group once if you feel like it cause you dropped a jump spell since this base doesnt require one.
Then, start working your hogs around from 3 all around the upper portion of the base slowly as they work through. Doesnt appear to be any giant bomb locations besides in the southern area... Goodluck
edit: even if there are single giant bombs up top beside the wiz towers, you can heal through them no problems :)

This base is just asking to getting destroyed by air. Take out that queen and cc and there's literally no way you can lose

His heroes are pretty high compared to his troops.. I think I maxed all my troops and spells by the time my heroes were 18/20 or so. Golems are something you just cant live without my friend. Do them ASAP.

It's not about time to max, it's about optimizing your base to be useful while you're playing. The joy in CoC is the journey, not the destination, especially since th9 is the most fun war th in the game. One would significantly increase his enjoyment of th9 if he maxes his golems, witches, and other dark troops rather than rush to 30/30 heroes with level 1 golems.Quote:

I do agree that uping the dark troops does give you a lot wider range of options to 3 star other bases but you can 3 star a lot of TH9s with a good CC golem, high heros and L5 hogs.
And while I did work on my golems at TH9 and get then to 4, if I did it over I'd have gotten them to 4 right after hogs to 5 instead of doing Hounds and Witches first and circling back to Hogs and Golems.
Sure, you can 3 star a lot of 9s like that, but by racing through 9 rather than enjoying 9 you're missing a ton of fun in the game. You're getting your valks to 4 so late that you probably won't test them much and appreciate them before going to th10 where infernos make them nearly unusable.. sure high level heroes are fun to play with in war but you're out if your mind to tell me one hero level is more fun to play with in war than an entire attacking strategy.Quote:

No, this isn't a "tough balance between progressing optimally". You're only "optimizing" yourself for racing towards endgame, and in no way, shape, or form progressing in a healthy manner conducive of being a quality war player. You're only progressing optimally from a farming perspective.Quote:

Tyler is right. Once AQ gets to, say, L5, just stop and focus on troops, especially hogs, golem, loons & hounds (in no special order). At early to mid TH9, I believe it's far, far more important to max troops than heroes. Weak troops but 30/30 heroes probably still struggle to 3* any decent TH9.Quote:
