GiBarch: 12-16 giants, 8 wallbrakers, and kinda equal number of barbarians and archers (you can go more archers). Do not deploy all giants same spot. As usual pull CC if possible. Start with 3 giants, some barbs and archers, and brake the wall with 2 Wallbrakers. Drop 3 more Giants, again couple of barbs and archers, give them couple of moments to advance and do it again. In this way you advance through the base. You will not able to 3 star a base but you get 1 or 2 stars. This composition is good for reaching DE storage, not so great versus gold/elixir farm cause you reach around 3 out of 6 storages usualy. Spells: 2 healing 1 rage, but you dont have to use them all, depending on how it goes. I prefer 3 healing cause its less of hassle to cook them.
Training time 20 minutes or so,gives 1 star usualy, sometimes 2 sometimes 0.
Barch: 1 barrack barbs and 3 others archers. Spam each side of the map with barbs and double the amount archers. Do this on all 4 sides and you get 1 star each time. For this comp to work you need archers being leveled up to respective Townhall level. Barbs can be 1 level lower, it still works. Good part is that its the fastest and easiest way to farm gold/elixir. You must hit a bit of next, cause best scenario is also to find a base with some loot in collectors. The TH's you aim for are the ones with the junk buildings outside, not having the junk buildings behind walls. Some mortars/wizards close to outer wall gives some trouble, but nothing major if spam all the lines of the map. Spells... who cares ?
Training time is like 15 minutes. Gives 1 star, thats it.
GoWiPe. I replaced Golem cause we all want to save DE with giants, also we dont want to train hours. So the trick is in how you train it in barracks.
Barrack 1: pekka
Barrack 2-3-4: 3 wizards, 5 giants, 2 WB, 8 barbs, 9 archers.
You fight with this same as with GiBarch. You start with 3-4 giants, barbs and archers to clear some of the buildings. This is to have the pekka go inside, with king maybe and wizards behind. Keep the suply of giants refreshed with archers and barch. When giants fade, plant 3-4 more. You dont want your pekka to tank from start of battle all defences cause that pile of stupidity will die fast. Spells: 2 heals 1 rage, but i mostly use 2 of them in a raid. One more thing: this attack might seems bad for a while cause pekka has a habbit of going outside of base and making a walk around it. Same as king, both of this stupid fellows are completly loonies. After some attacks you start to see where you can funnel them inside the base to stir the sh.it.
Training time is 45 minutes, gives 1 star till 3.
This is my opinion after playing the game counting on attacks and zero on collectors, and doing hundreds of attacks each season. Forum is full of trolls and gods, so dont bend your ear to everything.
PS: i pushed as TH7 till Crystal 2 with barch. Good luck, hope it helps...
What a very detailed and helpful reply, thank you :)
Yea I've been barching since level 2 barracks haha I've honestly been spending all day keeping my barracks full of dragons and doing 2 rage 1 heal. Basically a clan war attack. I'm at the point at my th that I have nothing better to do with my elixer. I've been getting crazy good raids of over 1500 de and I just got done getting 700k elixer haha and all but 1 was a 3 star. It just depends on if I boost my barracks. I may try to add some giants in though, as I could use some de thrown in there. Thank you :)
