2. Yes gems are expensive, but that's exactly why SC is giving away loads of gems to it's players. You have personal achievements accumulating gems, Randomly spawned obstacles (once every 8 hours) and a free gem box containing 25 gems. Changing the price of gems won't be possible as the pricing issn't done by supercell. On all IOS devises Apple is responsible for the pricing of gem packages, and when you're using Android it's Google pulling the strings.
3. This idea has been suggested alot in the past, and it's specificly ruled out as seen in the sticky threads at the top of the page. being able to use multiple builders kinda beats the purpose of buying/spending gems, and as a business that would affect revenue too much. Besides that the cap of all upgrades is set on 14 days, and thats not bad when being compared to other online games. I've seen games where a month of waiting time is not that rare, so being capped at 14 days is a nice forecast for what you can expect from certain TH levels. Also this game is about achieving and being able to buy expensive upgrades after grinding for days. When you adapt to the gameplay and learn new tactics for farming, no upgrade is actually that hard but they just don't come for free ;)
