Dark Elixir Feedback Thread

The three lightning spell attack is spreading like crazy last couple of days... I have 35k Dark elixer for over 3 days now! Three or four times a day i get attacked with three lightning attacks (4 x 1500 = 6000). I make 500 elixer with pumps...
I think people who get attacked with lightning for weeks now finally cave in and start to do the same... Its tempting go steal 1500-2000 dark elixer every 3 hours! Supercell needs to up the production of pumps or do something about the lightning attacks.

What we do not want is multiple storage facilities - it is already too hard to protect all available storage!

Yes the lightening spell is a cheap way to get dark elixir but it is the nature of the game. I think we just need to deal with it. Any change also effects your own attacking play so no solution is perfect.

I get my storage hit quite often but i also hit others but only when im within a few k of a DE purchase. I dont hit storages with spells all the time, even if 2k is on offer. Frankly, I think the heroes are quite ♥♥♥♥. I'll upgrade them when i have enough DE but I no longer hunt it. Gold is more important and id rather slap a spell or two on a mortar and use the gap I create to take much more than some DE!!

The sooner you take Heroes less serious, the more fun you will have. By all means get them but they are not going to transform your CoC gameplay imo...

Agree 100%. Supercell needs to make the storage stronger or lighting less effective on dark so you can't drop lighting on them. I lost 2000 today alone. It would take a week without getting hit to save up 2000 with only those ♥♥♥♥ty drills. Economics out of whack.

raise your trophy count.

if you stay in a farming trophy range, well, sometimes you're the farmer, and sometimes you're the (dark elixir) farm.

So, lightning targets high points in an environment? Why not put in a blimp defense to attract lightning in a specific radius. Pop it next to the storage, and pop! The lightning hits that. Some dex will be lost, but not as much. Also, it takes dex to construct the blimp, like the anti dragon seeker bombs, but takes up four spaces like a builder hut.
Upside, protection
downside, cost and space.
yes, it s a new feature thing, but seems relevant on this particular thread.

It took me only three days to loot 10K dark exilir at town hall lvl 7

So what is SuperCells response to all this feedback? Are they even listening to this? I can hear evil laughs in the background...

i beg to differ, the heroes are good, the queen especially.

half the time I send her in she is sniping from a distance and taking no damage. The king is a pretty decent tank. I use them all the time and they can do a lot of damage if used correctly, even at relatively low levels.

I think the dark elixir is a great addition, it gives the higher level players something to look forward too.

DE drills are too slow, don't bother with them you will make a LOT more raiding - buy the storage and use lightning to get to them.

The heros are too weak until you get to at least lvl 10 which will take a non-gemmer a LONG time. At lvl 10 the barb king is roughly equivalent to a PEKKA, once he get's knocked out the wait is too long to make them worthwhile as they are.

No one would use a PEKKA to defend as archers just demolish them with the ranged attack - so king's have the same limitation.

If you are interested waking a lvl 30 King takes 300 gems

Oh and finally once you have the lvl 30 heroes there is no more need for DE
