I'm just a beginner level 17 on Hay Day and I've noticed my apple trees just wither away after collection apples for a while. And then all I have to do is put up those exclamation mark boards and wait till some stranger magically fixes them up. Is there any way to do this yourself or do you always need someone else's support? Ive noticed that I can't make others' Apple trees proper either so is there any way to do that. I'm sure this is a stupid question but I've been wondering since ages.
You need someone else to do it. Much much easier once you join a neighbourhood, and/or have a lot of friends.
Also they can only revive it once, then it dies

Other players have to do it for you but if you put an ad I your road side shop when you sell an item, and you have a tree or bush on your farm that needs help that exclamation mark will appear in the paper alongside your farm name so others shopping will know you need help with something.
When you see other dead trees it either they have run out of helps to revive it or they do not have axes to cut them down. You can only help a tree or bush if there is an exclamation mark on it :)
there's a post somewhere that talks about the revival process for the trees etc but I cant find it so I may have the berry/apple numbers wrong

Other folks have explained why it happened. A word of caution - dry dead trees that are past revival really tend to accumulate fast. I didn't plan well when I started out and ended up with a whole hideous section of my farm devoted to dead trees. It was awful.Quote:

Don't worry about people wanting to revive your trees. They will - just put an ad in the digest so that people can see you need help. When I first got dead trees, I moved them to the front of my farm to make it easier for strangers to find them. That's not really necessary - there are folks trolling the ads looking for farms to help. :)
When trees on another person's farm needs to be refreshed (what you called making proper) The tree or the bush will be jumping around and have a little yard side either next to it or in front of it.Quote:
