I do think the two rages have alot of advantages as far as power for both loons and pups. I don't attack many low bases, so I haven't had trouble with hounds not popping. I used to just hold off a bit on deploying my spells on lower bases but for month now I pretty much attack max bases.

I am working hard on getting a new overlay up that should fix the sloppy one from the video for the time being I am recording the old way. Thank you for the input. I do appreciate the feedback in what you guys like and don't like.

i love this strategy too. Been used no it on one of my th9 nearly exclusively for a few months after I ran across this thread. Making a few tweaks too, but nothing major, just to fit my style.
I do see it as an all or nothing attack at times. I three star a lot, but find myself with more 1 stars than is like, and it's mostly just the clock running out. Guess I need more practice too. :)

I don't think I have run into a one star with it, but I can see that with the clock running out. For me it really 0 or 3 - and the zeros are most likely me deploying the loons incorrectly.

I struggle to practice it because I don't have enough time to properly lay out the attack. When I can lay it out in advance, I do much better. But it does rely heavily on how and when you lay deploy your loons - don't want them to get to the remaining AD too fast otherwise the hounds don't pop, but get there too late and the Hounds are all dead and the AD starts picking off your loons. For me, one of the things I look for is one AD on or near the exterior - where I know I can drop my loons and they will target the AD from deployment - then I can just watch the hounds' health and deploy when the last one is almost done, knowing my loons will get in.

I have also had much more success on TH9s with the xbows down and lvl 6 ADs - then I can also get away with only taking two hounds and save the room for more Loons. But I don't intend to give up on it anytime soon. Did two ground attacks over the weekend without much success - I hate laying out ground strats.

Practice is something that I lack time for too. In my last war attack I had 98% and only one freaking star with this. Still can't figure out what I did wrong there, but there was one Xbow that remained alive and kicking next to TH. I try to save up attacks in war when there is no need anymore for cleanup, but in the remaining time I have to farm. Nevertheless I will keep trying, but not as much as I would want to. My mini is getting close to hounds, so once I unlocked it there I will have more to train with.

Just did my 3rd attack with this strategy. 3 starred their top player (weakish war as many of our th9s have heroes upgrading). 1st time I've used it on a base with all level 7 air defence and it worked a treat. The queen was only level 7 but to counter that my hounds are still level 1. 4 days to go on valk upgrade then it's hounds followed by lightning then it's 3 star city it seems. Look bud,i sawthese replays while i admit its a nice strat,but they dont work on all bases,im a fully maxed th9(including walls and heroes)and most of my clanmates are like me,so our wars are against very strong clans that have bases with superb design,the bases you have shared are mostly common or unmaxed,for a fully maxed base you need high lvl heroes,I suggest you try superqueen+gova(4 healers+1golem in cc+9-13 wizards and wb if needed,spells depend on base)or try gohova (same combo just hogs instead of healers)
This is the best and latest method for 3 staring th9-10-11

It may not be the strongest (Lvl 4 Valks rule), but for someone moving up to TH 9, this attack has allowed me to be successful as a new TH 9, so I am forever grateful. Thanks Bro!

I get that some people are going to struggle with this attack but I don't see your point. He's shown this against max defenses. I think he has at least one vid with his subaccount taking out a near max 9. He's shown it against popular internet bases and random bases. He only uses the heroes to kill the CC, so range doesn't really matter except maybe they get a few other buildings for cleanup, but his attacks are so quick, cleanup seems moot.

I made my cc space 30 today and from then I am practicing this strategy. Oh what a great strategy! Loved it....:heart:
At first time I was confused about the perfect kill zone. I was mistiming while deploying the loons and was not getting any stars. Then I took some time, watched your videos again and again, practiced in the friendly battle and realized what is the good timings. I need to keep practicing this strategy. My clanmates are also shocked as I am new in th9, and still able to get 3 star from a well set-up th9 war base. Thank you CnB for this amazing strategy.:D

Some of my clanmates had maxed wiz in their cc. So, I was unable to kill them all with my heroes(BK-10,AQ-2). I just added 5 wiz to kill the cc troops and for clean up. Is there any problem if I take 22 loons instead of 26 loons?

You could kill cc wiz by getting them in a corner then dropping a loon on them. They kill it, it falls on them and they die. Uses 1 loon once you get the hang of it as opposed to 20 space worth of wiz.
