Control Troops and Buff Defenses

Ok, people are definitely ruling out directing troops because you could just send dragons to the TH but how about

1. Direct just the direction of one type of troop (tap on the barbarian icon for example and swipe the direction to attack in, not choose a specific target but just the direction only)

2. Slightly (not too much) buff the defenses to even it out a bit.

One more thing, it seems like people think this will "take all the strategy out of the game" but won't it give more strategy because you can direct the general direction of the type of troop, not a specific target?

Anyone interested?

hmm u need to see some high lvl players attack frist i think..

sorry but it will be really weird, u can take a look on boom beach maybe :D, we can deploy troops everywhere except red area on coc, 240 max troops held, 3 heroes max that we cant control once we deploy and alot of troops, and warden already have their own fav target, in high lvl targetting troops to get in, or go around as efficient as possible are what we do..

I know but how about just swipe to indicate the direction, not picking a specific target, so the troops with no favourite target will go that direction and troops with preferred targets will go for preferred targets in that direction?

Also it's directing all of one type of troop, not every individual troop
