Hi everyone
a few days back, I created a thread about how Clash isn't compatible with my Moto E 2nd gen.
A few people gave me a link to download apk file and advised me to clear google play data.
I cleared google play data but still not compatible and none of the sites from where i can download apks have the updated version.
Please reply soon as I am desperate to try out this new update.

When I open clash of clans it says there is a new update,but when I go to google play store it says my device is not compatible with the new update,im using Samsung Galaxy grand prime,android version 5.0.2 ..I believe it should work,anyone knows why its not working? Thanks
So this is happening the last 2 updates to me and my phone im currently using a LG SPIRIT and when a new upgrade comes out i cant download it or it the game doesnt show up on my play store.I got the latest version for play store (currently is 6.0.5) and it says that my phone is not compatible with the new version of the game but i already have it downloaded and im struggling and trying to use apk. files to play it(not modded) so for the last time can someone help me with this or give me the last apk. file update for clash of clans(new one) or give me a solution to this :mad::mad::mad:

I'm having the same issue. LG Power running Android Lollipop. I get the message there's an update available but Google Play says it's not compatible with my device. Going back to the game gives me the same update message but will not allow me to access my current version to play the game. This is highly irritating and frustrating. Needs to be fixed asap. :confused:

Algumas pessoas me deu um link para baixar arquivo apk e aconselhou-me a limpar google jogar dados.
Limpei Google Play dados mas ainda não é compatível e nenhum dos locais de onde eu posso baixar apks ter a versão atualizada.
Por favor, responda logo que eu estou desesperado para experimentar esta nova atualização.

Galaxy S5 latest version-up to date. Google store says update is not compatible!
I was excited to see what was changed in the update done a few hours ago(1/26/2016) but my device LG android Stylo will not update saying my device is incompatible! Please fix this or let me know what I need to do to get back to Clashing. I just bought this android phone a week ago. I been playing clash of clans on it fine with no problems until this update!

Hello, try clearing google play data and see if it works for you.
COC isn't even in my app store.
Im having the same problem!
Ive been playing for almost 2.5 yrs. With the latest update me..along with my 5 other family members with the same phone. LG Leon. Are no longer compatible?!?! Please rectify this soon. Ive spent hundreds on this game!!! Im lvl 105 on my main 4saken1

I'm having the same problem as I cannot download the update. When I go in to clash of clans it says I need to update then when I go to update it tells me my device isn't compatible. Guys dont worry. All you need to do is download the new Clash of clans APK to your device.

This is often caused by the GooglePlay app.
Please try clearing GooglePlay cache: go to Settings > Application Manager > All > Google Play Store > Clear data/cache.
Cleared data on Google play, rebooted device and did the hokey pokey. Still not compatible.
If I search from within Google play it does not show up (because it deems the application as not compatible so why would it show it?). If I Google for the app and link to it this way, it still says not compatible.
Hey what's going on. My brand new note 5 is now not compatible with this game!!! Please fix asap, or remove the forced update!!!!!!!

Problems with new update. The device is not compatible. Samsung galaxy tab 4. Please help!!
I was in the same position as others, I cleared data and then went to the CoC page on play and still said that my device was not compatible. But after clearing the data it did show up in my list of apps that needed to be updated (it was not there before) and I hit to update all. Low and behold it updated! So if you are having the same issue check to see if Clash shows up in apps that need update and just hit update all.

Tried to uninstall and reinstall, but now it doesn't even show up in play store.
CoC is under "my apps" tried from there, still says device not compatible.
Any more suggestions?

Thats because it thinks its not compatible for your phone so it hides it. Go to Play store and then click top left and go to "my apps". Click the All tab and it should be there.Quote:

Nootttt compatible. On a 8 month old flagship device. I take it this bug does not discriminate in its compatibility issues? lol
Also, clearing cache on google play store and restarting does nothing to fix this for me.

Any samsung/Android users who can't install update and is getting "this device is incompatible " go to settings, app manager, Google play store, clear cache and data. Do the same for your Internet browser and any other Google app. Then go to google play store in the app manager, click Uninstall updates and reboot phone. Pain however finally got COC to download update and open.
Fyi, the clearing cache trick did not work for me. Maybe because after reboot I went back into app then it went to play store. Anyway what did work was I googled clash of clans apk, found the first one was dated updated today January 26th. I downloaded it and installed it after setting allow install outside of play store. It then updated the app.
I did have to sign back into my game and load it from Google play. So if you don't have your game tied to Google play account then don't uninstall or manually install or you might lose your game!!
