Once you have got your boat mastery is it worth filling boats and sending them off? I can see why if it's part of a special event or helping someone, but you only get about half the price if you're just doing it for yourself.

Do you want to level up? If so, you should do boats.
Refrain from boats requesting sugar/dairy, sauces, etc.
Boatscore Hunter III achievement gives 50 diamonds.
'Worth it' is subjective. If you want coins, no. If you want XP, kind of. If you want vouchers, yes.
It sounds like you are still focussed on the 'coin' value, so no, it's 'not worth it' if you are. RSS all the way for coins.
Right now I'm madly serving customers in town, including the two & three shop ones because for me, the double coins means you're not taking a 'hit' on the coins whilst getting XP and RP. When my farm was in the levels 40/50/60 I avoided too much XP and maxed gettng coins, now it's the other way around ;)
I already achieved boatscore hunter III and have over 8 million coins so do not need coins. Level 111 now, would be good if there was a boatscore hunter IV though for more diamonds.
Well then, surely by now you have played enough to decide for yourself 'if it's worth it or not'?
I don't understand how/why you want people to answer this question, when the replies really aren't gong to fit your situation :saywhat:
I think getting differing opinions and point of views helps, especially if it's put in a way you might not have thought of yourself. It's the same kind of thought when I tour around other people's farms when I'm having trouble getting mine to appease me, for inspiration.
I'm at level 119 with all my achievements done (except the champions derby) and have a fairly good hoard of nearly everything. I don't do boats very often, but when I do, I follow several guidelines. If I open a crate, can I fill it myself if no one else comes along? Is it asking for a base product that I use to make finished products? Do I really want to part with 24 jams, ect?
I prefer plunking two or three of my product in someone else's crates than sticking twelve of the said product in my own boat.
As as another user has pointed out, it depends on your playing style on what your goals are at your level.
Until something comes along that I need more vouchers for (like another pair of bunnies ) I very seldom do my own boats. It is too disappointing to load one up and get a green voucher when I could have used those goods to serve a bunch of townies. I suppose that some day I'll set my sights on the 1,000 green voucher club, and then maybe my boating habits will change. Until then...
I love filling boats for friends. This morning, I saw a help request from a friend whom I can very seldom help (she's got a quick bunch of 'hoodies, I think) and I was able to fill 3 crates!!! Made my day!!!
Agree with kristasmith... probably already decided to just help other folk unless i can easily do a boat. However, without being confrontational, smallchange misses the point of the posts.. we (especially newer folk like me) post to get other, probably more experienced, views and not to get dismissed. Probably put me off from getting advice/views and posting now. Have seen similar critical replies before from more senior folk.. thought discussion was the point of this but maybe not. Thank you anyway kristasmith.
Thankyou also minigardener.. probably play the same way as you, like to help folk too
