I have everything maxed out but my walls. My town hall is lvl 7 and my walls are all lvl 6 so only one lvl away from max. Should I upgrade my Town Hall now or wait until I upgrade all my walls?

ugrade the walls in the core of your base while your townhall is upgrading (which i suggest upgrading if you have the money)
LEvel 7 walls are the same as level 6, just different looks. Just upgrade th7.

You are both correct. What the ClasherofClans means, STOMP, is that it takes the same number of wall breakers to break through a level 7 wall as a level 6 wall (except for level 1 WBs which you never see at this TH level), making the 200K-per-segment upgrade a little expensive for the benefit. It has to be done eventually to gain higher level walls, but I wouldn't prioritize it over maxing defenses.
That being said, if you have already maxed your defenses I would go ahead and max the walls to level 7 while the loot is good. Then upgrade your TH secure in the knowledge that you maxed EVERYTHING before you went to TH8. Level 7 walls won't slow down a pair of WBs, but they will slow down everything else.
What if they didn't bring enough wall breakers to break through all of their important walls, like Th storages, etc. 10 wall breakers are enough to only break through 5 wall segments and wall breakers won't go where they're always needed. The main point of upgrading walls other than making them use more wall breakers it to stop troops. If the troops can't get to where you want then that raid failed.
Max your walls trust me its a big difference, doesnt matter if it takes just as much wallbreakers its still gonna slow down those giants,barbs and even archers.
and plus you wouldn't have to worry about getting them to lvl 7 when your at th8
Do definetly your walls first, it will make your life as a townhall 8 easier. I did the mistake, now I'm nearly finished Th8 with only 10% Level 8 walls.

Thanks for the advise I will updrage all my walls before I start my th upgrade. Kind of a side note though, is the loot that much worse at th 8?
If you don't do them now the same thing will happen with level 8 walls and that will take even longer.
The loot isn't much worse at th8, you do have to be at least at 1200 trophies and the best is 1300-1400 unless doing de, which a 1600+. It's just that it will take a bit longer and you will have too much to do with skull walls at 500k a piece.
Definitely upgrade the walls, its worth it.
I'd def take the time to upgrade walls now. As far as loot at TH8 goes, I've found there's always loot if you look for it. Find a troph level that works for you, and farm to your heart's content!
