Advice on what to do for a premature TH 9.

I recently caved in and spent some money to gem my townhall to TH 9, mainly to unlock the x-bows and higher tier troops. What I didn't take into account is that my defenses are only at par with town hall 7's and 8's. Most of my troops are level 5 but I'm more worried about getting mauled by same townhall level players with level 6 troops. So I'm looking for a level in trophies that I can lay low and slowly build up my defenses. I was thinking 1200 but I've even thought about 200 below 1000 trophies, like 200. Any help is appreciated.

Im more looking for on where I should be at on trophies. 200, 1200, or where im at which is 1650?

Picture would be nice

anywhere between 1300-1600 should be good for you. I take you are primarily looking to farm gold?

Yes I am mainly trying to farm gold for upgrades, elixir is not as important to me. Dark elixir isn't really a concern but when I get a raid and get some its welcome. Also here is a picture of my base:

1400s is good. 1350s too.

I would say just farm in the gold legue. Based off the picture though your a th 8, just saying.

Since your upgrading. CANCEL THAT TH!
