Welcome to the forums ;)
This idea is in the sticky, but I hope the don't implent it. Some players like their privacy they don't need their clan members stalking them. but having this on your friends list would be helpful/
This would be very nice
If u want to know if someone is online, just check thier collectors. If it has like 200 then they are probably online.

This idea is in the sticky, but I hope the don't implent it. Some players like their privacy they don't need their clan members stalking them. but having this on your friends list would be helpfhelpfull believe we should know who is playing that way we know who to kick that is inactive and who is actually part of the clan. How is it privacy matter because all we know is that their on or off just like FacebookFacebook
This would be so useful, for example, you could use it to know when to request by checking if there are any generous donators online.... :)
[QUOTE=Gumball;665093]1. you totally failed on the quote.
2. I don't give what they have on FB and what they don't. If you want to know who is inactive and who's not check there donation, their collectors, if they have gravestones and if their clan castle is empty. There could be many events where this would ♥♥♥♥ people off.
Why An Online Status Indicator Is A Bad Idea
There are numerous reasons why this is a horrible idea, I will highlight several:
1) People spend real money in this game and as a result they deserve their privacy. This is not some free forum, it is a game where hard-earned money is spent and people doing so should be able to play Clash of Clans without being stalked by nosy children.
2) An online status indicator will fill the clan chat logs with the following; Bill are you there? Bill why aren’t you answering, it says you are online? Bill, if you don’t answer me I’m going to boot you from the clan.
3) When many people are playing Clash of Clans they are doing many other things besides looking at the clan chat. Most people are; fixing their base, looking at the top players, watching replays, searching clans, or a number of other things. Again, the chat log will be spammed with, “Why aren’t you answering me Sally?” Well, Sally is doing other things besides looking at clan chat so that’s why she is not answering you.
4) The donation stats tell you everything you need to know about a clan member. If a person is “online” all of the time but never donates, what good are they?
5) An online status will cause friction in clans because a person will request troops and certain “online” people won’t donate because they are doing something else (see #3). The person who requested troops will be angry with “online” people who didn’t donate to them and then they will stop donating to those people as revenge. The online status indicator will open a can of worms that will eventually ruin this game.
6) Sometimes people simply want a few minutes to relax and play Clash of Clans and they don’t feel like talking to clan members at that specific time. An online status indicator will make that impossible and cause problems that I highlighted above.
Summation:
It isn't anybody's business when we are online, how long, or the last time we were online. Adults who spend money on this game don't want or need nosy people keeping tabs on our gaming activities. If you want to see a big decline in your revenue SuperCell, implement these horrible ideas. The majority of your paying customers are adults with jobs, we want to play this game in peace without stalkers marking down every time we are online.
I agree with you:)
Some people want it and some dont but i think its a good idea:):( its not worse then swearing on global chat
