Tommorow i am getting TH8 (I am on almost maxed out TH7), and i want to get the barbarian king to level 10 (now its level 1).
What troops should i use? what trophy range is the best?
Actually i got level 4 troops but soon level 5.
I wanna get normal resources too, not just DE (for upgrading things).

1500-1700 maybe? Might be hard until you have your troops at level 5
As a new TH8, you should focus on offensive upgrades first (just like all the other TH upgrades).
Upgrade your LAB
Upgrade your Camps
Upgrade at least 1 barrack to gain access to PEKKAs
After that, you should put down your first DE drill. It's not much, but every little bit helps.
As for trophy level, the higher you are the more DE there is. Aim high and don't stop...
Anywhere between 1400-1700 is a good spot to hang out for a mixture of decent DE as well as lootable gold/elix. You don't really need a lot of huge 1800-2000 DE raids to keep the barb king upgrading... if you can average like 400-500 DE from every base you loot, you will accumulate enough to level him up pretty consistently.

Yes to jbomber but thas the easy way out... Go high in trophies all i got to say it seems the highest level people dont care about those resources...
no do not do that. Go up to about 1,500 to 1,600 trophies and pick off drills and lighting storages. Thats what I did.Quote:

My BK was at lvl 3 when I started the above method.
Others have mentioned it but go up in trophy and you will fine DE...1700+ should be good.

And the rest, do i need to get on 1500-1700? Will i survive there? What troops should i use?
No, he didn't :). You are confusing him with the thread creator. And yes it's possible for TH 7 to use that army. Or you can use giant healer or farming army, and aim for semi-exposed DE storage or easy base. Mass dragon works too, but i don't like them. They often wander around.Quote:
